Wailing Hero

A dream hidden within,

Personage imbued with talents,

A purpose intrinsic,

Heart burns to express.

The being of a strong-willed nature,

A vision--a land perceived,

Peace, the goal to grasp

Legendary figure a person seems.

What divides reality and illusion?

Of dreaming--and of being awake.

Is peace truly attainable?

For human nature seems far removed for such.

There lays two paths to traverse,

The dove and a leaf,

Bloodshed, war and cruelty.

These two often lead to peace.

Those villains seek the latter,

Those esteemed heroes the former.

Still, all reverts to its original state.

The concept: Everything as it was, always.

A hero again rises--the spirit of reform,

Fully aware he is of the concept, always.

Predetermined to fight a hopeless battle.

How can they reconcile this with the calling?

Perseverance alone seems the remedy.

Yes! Striving even in uncertainty, absolute!

There, among all, is an attainable end.

To not let pessimism override.

There arose many brave heroes,

Shining with hope and a heart pure,

Yet drowned in the despair of humanity,

A pure soul; degraded, broken, overwhelmed.

"My mind is foggy, I'm so confused

We keep on losing our legends to

The cruel cold world, what is it coming to?

--- Juice WRLD"

The despairing goal? To keep hope alive,

To keep the heart pure,

A regard fixed towards paradise,

For if not, one merely dissolves.

The heroes do not win the war,

It is the battle they seek--each hero;

They boost the morale of others,

Till the time all is made anew.

Therefore: Everything as it was, always.

A never ending cycle--light and dark,

Hitherto, none can overcome the other.

This the reality perceived by each.

The glorious purpose of all heroes,

Is a bitter--sweet burden;

Yet it is by no means sour,

As there remains a crown of victory, always.

Thank you for reading this, below I have attached a piece of music which encapsulates the BITTER--SWEET Glorious purpose, enjoy!
